How is Independence Manor unique from other Assisted Living facilities?
In addition to our full time RN as Wellness Nurse, Independence Manor has on staff licensed nurses who provide medication administration as well as overseeing resident health care needs. Most other assisted living facilities employ only nursing assistants and/or medication aides. We at Independence Manor feel that it is important to have nurses on staff to provide health maintenance services including medication administration, wellness assessments and to assist with healthcare management as needed.

What other health care services are available in the area?
Hunterdon Medical Center, with all its resources, is less than a mile away. We are affiliated with Hunterdon Care Center, a long term facility which in addition to skilled care offers two specialized units: a sub acute unit as well as an Alzheimer’s Unit. A medical pavilion with physician’s offices specializing in Gerontology also shares the campus.

What is the cost of assisted living?
Our monthly rate depends on the choice of accommodations and level of care. Basic room rates range from $3,750 to $5,820 per month. Remember your basic package does include:
