WHO WE ARE

Independence Manor’s mission is to create a comfortable, caring and supportive environment, where you may enjoy the activities and lifestyle you choose, and where the care and support we provide will enable you to continue to live independently.

The Nagle family is pleased to present Independence Manor at Hunterdon, an Assisted Living Facility located in the heart of Hunterdon County. Independence Manor is set on a beautifully landscaped site in Flemington, NJ, just minutes from the country’s largest medical facility.

“We have worked closely with our design team to develop and build a facility which will foster the utmost of independence and individuality while ensuring safety and security. We will meet the needs of our residents by understanding their individual, social and health care requirements while providing for those requirements in a residential rather than an institutional environment.”

-Gary Nagle, CEO

Independence Manor at Hunterdon offers a variety of private and companion style suites, which appeal to a range of preferences. Residents are encouraged to add personal touches by decorating their suites with furnishings from home. All apartment styles are designed to provide the warmth and comfort of home.

Independence Manor has spacious common areas which residents are encouraged to use to entertain and socialize with friends and family. Residents will also enjoy our lovely outdoor courtyard and front porch.

We are pleased to announce that we have earned New Jersey State’s “Advanced Standing” designation for quality again for the 2022 year.

“Advanced Standing has been approved by the New Jersey Department of Health as a distinction bestowed upon an assisted living facility that successfully complies with all state, federal and local regulations that pertain to licensed assisted living facilities and comprehensive personal care homes in the state of New Jersey.

Additionally, these facilities prove their dedication to quality by meeting benchmarks for certain prescribed quality indicators as chosen by the Peer Review Panel of the Health Care Association of New Jersey Foundation.”

-Healthcare Association of New Jersey.

TESTIMONIALS

As a new widow living alone for the first time in my life. I found closing my door each night made me feel very lonely. So moving near my children and still maintaining my independence, I moved here to Independence Manor. I know that in the future, if I need health care and any kind of assistance, I will be very well taken care of by a very caring and capable staff.

My mother was a resident at Independence Manor for almost 9 years. We were so blessed that she was surrounded by compassion, wonderful care, and truly special loving staff members. As her cognitive status declined and she became completely dependent on their care, I was so touched at the love and respect they showed my mother, the special extra steps they took to make sure she was comfortable, and how responsive everyone was…from direct care, nurses, administrators, hair dressers, housekeeping…. Independence Manor truly is a special place. There’s no place like home, but if someone can no longer live at home, Independence Manor is the place to be!

Contentment - That's a good word to describe Independence Manor. I can do what I want and don't have to worry about things. Playing bridge and participating in activities that interest me surrounded by many friends and an extremely caring staff. What could be better - certainly not being alone in my house! Plus an added bonus is that my family doesn't have to worry that I'm lying on the floor somewhere in the house. What a relief! It is a win-win situation
